Respond to the following quote. What does it mean to you/to the story?

"Becoming pretty doesn't just change the way you look... it changes the way you think."

To me this is the quote that made the whole book. It is definitely the turning point in the story. I was on the right track the whole time. To the story it also means a lot It is what changed Tally's whole decision to stay in Smoke.

If i had the decision to turn pretty and took it i would want to change me mentally by making me process faster And taking away my stress factor. Physically i would make my hair less volumes.
